Corporativo Mixcoac

Located in the southern part of Mexico City on the former bank of the Mixcoac river, current east-west road axis, the office building is built on a human scale creating a corporate ambiance that stablishes a mellow atmosphere within the chaos of DF.

The façade is a sober composition based on syncopated rhythms providing calm and harmony into its context, resulting in a low-relief building.

The ground floor is built out of an elevated base tucked in a sidewalk in order to create a garden and a plaza.

Only two different materials that play with the texture and the lighting were used for the entrance hall and the common areas. Both the exclusive use of indirect light and the simplicity of its almost monastic design strengthen the inner peace of its users as they roam through the building.

These elements act as a filter, between the building and the roadways, thus improving a better interaction with the human scale.
