Corporativo Google México

Corporativo Google México
Montes Urales 445

The current headquarters of Google is subject to the principles of fine taste through its simplicity and elegance, joining one of the most prestigious corporate streets across Mexico. The project is awarded due to its functionality.

As only one part of the building faces the street, several accesses were resolved by sending all vehicles to basement 1 giving pedestrians the priority.

The main façades are made of glass with elegant rhythms of aluminum mullions and solid lateral façades reverse the relationship between solids and voids.

Lateral façades readopt the rhythms established for the main ones, in the form of a lattice that enables a light entry and a view, acting as a screen that preserves the intimacy of inner spaces due to the short distance between the buildings.

Several terraces are sculpted from the main glass volume, increasing the flatness of the building and creating a second reading of the main façades. The material nature of the building is both modern and warm. Clay panels form the lateral lattices, the inferior volumes are made of flagstones. Glass and aluminum contrast to float upon the stone.

The sequence ends with the elevator lobby, which shines brightly along with its glass wall trapped inside a natural rock.

Corporativo Google Mexico stands out for its intelligent, simple and efficient design, which provides a better quality of life for its users and community.
